The Syrian Electronic Army hacked Skype’s Twitter account, accusing Microsoft of working with governments to share users information. The hacker group tweeted, “Don’t use Microsoft emails (hotmail, outlook). They are monitoring your accounts and selling the data to the governments.” The group also tweeted out Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer’s contact information. Last Summer Skype, along with other internet companies, were exposed for working with the National Security Agency and the PRISM surveillance program.
