Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered Health agencies to consider a possible total ban on imports of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) or Genetically Engineered Foods by October 15th. Russia currently does not allow commercial cultivation of GMOs and they have recently suspended use and import of American GM corn after a French study showed a possible link to breast cancer.
