Judge Cites Chicago Gun Ban As Unconstitutional

A federal judge Monday ruled that a key element in Chicago’s gun ordinance is unconstitutional, saying the city can’t prohibit licensed gun owners from operating.
The Chicago Tribune reports that U.S. District Judge Edmond Chang found that Chicago failed to convince him that banning gun sales by licensed dealers was a necessary step to curb gun crimes.
