A second Hawaii County says no to GMOs.
The Saint Louis Post Dispatch reports that the Hawaii County Council Tuesday voted 6-3 to approve a bill restricting the planting of genetically modified crops.
Farmers who already grow GMO crops would be exempted.
GMO crops could still be grown inside enclosed structures.
The Mayor must now decide whether or not to sign the legislation.
